I got to admit, I would be very surprised if Last Man Standing or Man Up perform well on Tuesdays at 8. One of them is gonna get cancelled very quickly (my bet is Man Up after 5 episodes). They both seem awful and coming out of a box stored in ABC's attic for 20 years.
Cougar Town will begin its production like every other show, at the same time, so episodes will be ready for late October (if Man Up last that long), for instance. It would please ABC, because in the interview it is said that ABC's president doesn't exactly know what they will do with the remaining episodes of Cougar Town (all 22 episodes obviously can't all air from late November to late March). So if it started a little early, that would help.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I'm less ragey about Cougar Town being pushed to November. I'm betting it will be back sooner, once one of the new shows fails, though.
