The Chicago Code - The Fans' Story, Part 2

23 May 2011

In honor of the show, I've named today The Chicago Code Day at my blog. It starts with part two of my piece on the efforts of the fans to save the series. My campaign blog, "Saving The Chicago Code - The Fans' Story," has now been updated. You can read it at Digital Airwaves.

Stay tuned throughout the day for Chicago Code content, culminating with my usual analysis of the series finale after it airs tonight at 9 PM ET/PT on FOX.

  1. Fox is not in touch with reality.....without "Idol" and "House" they are not in the running except to beat out hapless ABC.  Now they take a great show with a great esemble, "Chicago Code", and dump it!!!  There must be a lot of dead wood in the programming department of this network.  They perform their jobs as if they are dead.  Chicago Code is new, interesting, a great setting and if it were put on the Wednesday slot at 9:00PM it would be a better hit.  The problem is you have is just two hours of prime time television on the East Coast.  Wake up and get with the program and expand the prime time slots to 11:00:PM.   You can have Chicago Code and more great television rather than give the advertising to the local stations after 10:00PM.  Bottom line......drop "Code" and I drop FOX including "Idol".
