CBS just picked up 3 more new series, dramas Rookies, now The 2-2, which is executive produced by Robert De Niro and The Rememberer, now Unforgettable, which stars Poppy Montgomery, and David Hornsby's comedy How To Be a Gentleman.
So cancel either CSI:NY and/or Suspect Behavior because of the two pick ups I bet.
It is just sad to see NBC and ABC have a dozen or more new series each season while struggling to fill a schedule and CBS could invent another day or two and stock a 9-day week with its current series and incoming new series..... sigh, sad.
Now there are two shows I'm really eager to see : Persons of Interest and How to Be a Gentleman.
They both have amazing casts (Michael Emerson, Jim Caviezel / Mary Lynn Rajskub, David Hornsby, Rhys Darby, Kevin Dillon) and great writers/producers (Jonathan Nolan, JJ Abrams / David Hornsby).
This season on CBS, there wasn't any show I was that impatient and confident about.
Ugh. "The 2-2." I know "Rookies" wasn't exactly a stroke of creative genius but at least it was simple and straightforward. This new title is horrible.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Emily Deschanel's husband has a new show now? Awesome!

Oh, that's bad news for me because this means that "CSI:NY"s renewal chance is melting. Hope I see Mac and Jo in a brand new 8th season...
ReplyDeleteAlso looking forward to How To Be A Gentleman, this should turn out to be quite awesome. You already listed the reasons.
ReplyDeleteHell yeah! they changed the name of 'rookies' to 'the 22' , there's only one rookie blue!! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope CSI NY sticks around but the finale acted like a series finale.
ReplyDeletesame!
ReplyDeleteWill it have a laugh track though? To quote 30 Rock, that's a deal breaker. .
