    All of the good relationship names sound like at least one of their names. Tiva sounds like Ziva, Chair sounds like Blair, Mikita sounds like Nikita etc. Caskett only sounds like half of both of their names and it keeps on bringing up the image of a grave.

    Kastle works a lot better because it sounds like Castle, and it contains all the letters from Kate's name and all, except the C, from Castle's name.

    Get over it. It's called Caskett, everybody calls it like that even people related to the show. It's not because you don't like it and want it different that it is gonna change.
    Sorry to tell you that but your name doesn't has the right ring and will never catch. You never ever take a name that phonetically sounds exactly like one of the name of the characters. If anything Beckle makes at least sense. Normally you don't mix last names and first names in ships' names...

    What's with the attitude? I expressed I didn't like the name Caskett and gave my reasons, that's it. I don't expect people to change their opinions simply because I want them to, that would just be stupid.

    And there's nothing to get over, it's not that big of a deal. And as you saying that the relationship name is never phonetic, I gave three names which most certainly are, two of which have a rather large group of shippers who use those names more than anything else.

    And as for that last part, they don't generally mix first and last names because they're almost always referred to by their first names. Kate is almost always referred to by her first name while Castle is always referred to by his last. There was reasoning behind the name I chose for them, maybe you should have realized that before getting so defensive.

    People like you annoy me. You make these idiotic assumptions on my character simply because you don't agree with what I'm saying.

    But that's what their ship name is...Caskett...You can go look anywhere that ships them and it will say Caskett...Don't fight the ship name or the shippers...

    I'm not fighting the ship name or the shippers, I just think it's a bad name. I already stated why I think so. People can keep using the name, I certainly don't have the power to stop them, but that doesn't mean I'll agree with it.

    Caskett is fine with me, as long as I remember it has double ''t''. LOL. Beckle sounds like the name of an insect. you know, like ''beetle''. really. and Kastle, well, like you said, does Castle no justice so....
    aydrian-san, how about calling them CastlexBeckett?
    well enough with OT, back to the topic. I think the next ep will be hilarious. can't wait for it.

    And that's exactly why it is called Caskett, by so many people and the cast/crew of the show itself. AND by the two actors playing Castle and Beckett. It is a humorous shipper-name, when you think of what they deal with on the show and that's the point of it all, when you think of the humor of Castle. Shipper names doesn't have to logical, like Kastle, all the time. I love Caskett, simply because of the double meanings.

    Plus, I've never seen anyone else, but you, call them Kastle. But if you want that, fine by me, but be ready for the majority calling them Caskett and thinking that Kastle is a strange one. Not trying to pick a fight, I'm just saying....
