Breaking In - Finale Moved Up

Cancelled Shows
Fox announced that it's recently cancelled comedy will be finishing off the season and possibly series a day earlier. Rumors have been circulating the web that report the show might not be dead. Breaking In will air after Raising Hope, a fellow Fox comedy. What Fox is likely doing is testing how the show can do with out such a big lead in like American Idol.
Don't think it'll help. Too bad, though. Kinda liked it.
ReplyDeleteI really hope it continues. But then again, I'm selfish, because I want to see Michael Rosenbaum on my tv every week again. xD
ReplyDeleteI believe this is Fox seeing how Breaking In does without an american idol lead in. As it was reported that Fox is reconsidering the cancellation of it.
ReplyDeleteWell it might have helped had they done this BEFORE announcing cancellation. Chances are some people that would have tuned in won't bother now that they assume it's not coming back.
ReplyDeleteI hope they won't base their decision purely on the ratings of that episode in particular. I mean, it's the season finale and it airs in a timeslot no one watched this season (Running Wilde and Traffic Light can testify), there won't be any miracle.
ReplyDeleteI really wish Breaking In comes back next season. There are not many new shows I liked this season, and there's just a very few of them that I would actually miss if they were cancelled, and Breaking In is one of them.
It's fresh, funny, there's a great mix between action and comedy, not a single flaw in the main cast (Slater and Rosembaum rock in particular). Raising Hope and Outsourced are better but Breaking In comes in 3rd place on my list of the best new comedies of the season on networks (these are the only three I genuinely liked, actually... not a great season of TV overall).
Please please please continue! this show is super funny and I enjoy it so much!
ReplyDeleteThe show is hilarious. Not many shows make me fall in love with them after the first episode, and this one did. Acting was great, characters were hilarious, situations were intelligent and endings were well-thought. Christian Slater has this curse of choosing great shows that end after a season.
ReplyDeleteI hope Fox decides to save it, or at least let another network pick it.
