    One should not ask on what someone is planning to do. One should dread on what will one actually DO.

    We all know that things will go wrong for both sides, so a different vampire might end up sacrificed than planned(caroline is planned)

    are u blind???haven't u seen the promo...caroline is chained up...katherine told elena tht the reason she turned caroline is becouse sacrifice needs a vamp and she chose caroline so i hope damon saves her

    Even if her sacrifice is only attempted it is still awful. Caroline has been through enough already this season. Out of the main 3 (Caroline, Bonnie, Elena) Caroline has been through way more sh*t in season 2.

    Well, considering its all about change, supposedly, its intentional.

    All characters who go through and survive this whole Klaus Ritual thing will apparently change either psychologically, mentally or physically, it should be interesting on what it will bring to Caroline...

    Will Caroline completely shut off from anything human and be more like a vampire? Or will she actually embrace her human fragile side more? How will her love relationships change? How her outlook towards other characters and her friends will change?

    And that can be said about every character.


    IMO, this Klaus thing is built up as huge game-changer, so I see A LOT of possibilities for surprising turns in character development. That should bring some dynamic stuff to the characters as they,frankly, were in same roles since episode one.

    Agreed, except for Damon and Caroline who are very different people than they were in the pilot.
