Here's a new promo for Friday's Supernatural episode, Mommy Dearest. It includes Lenore, the cow blood drinking vampire from season 2. I said I wasn't going to watch more spoilers but I couldn't resist. Lenore was an awesome character.

Ah, Lenore... one of the few 'good' monsters. So Eve is in their heads, makes sense. She is their mother after all. I'm with Wilson, I &*^%ing love Lenore. :)

ReplyDeleteYay Lenore! But she's gotta be hurting with Eve in her head like that and how hard she's fighting to be good and not give in, not start killing again. The way she walked up to Sam though, and just looked him straight in the eye almost subtle but pleading and tells him to kill her... damn, just... I really wonder if Sam will do it for her? It's like a parallel to Madison minus the romance, but Sam did have a connection to Lenore in Bloodlust. He was also the one who saved her and got her away from Gordon, along with the rest of her vampire family. So it just makes me wonder what's going to happen here. This looks SO good! I can't WAIT for the episode!

Thank you for posting. So glad they have kept Lenore true to herself as in Bloodlust but sorry she lost her family to Eve. really sad position she is in.
ReplyDeleteThe way things are going in the last couple of episodes,I can totally see Cas killing Lenore...My guess is that Sam and Dean convince her to keep fighting and not give up and then Cas kills her.
ReplyDeleteI'm saying this cause I believe that whatever it is that forces the boys to trap him in the ring of fire in episode 20,happens in this episode.And maybe this is what happens..
I'm really happy to see Lenore again though and I'd hate it if she died!

He also knows exactly what it feels like to feel driven to drink blood. So there are parallels between Sam's season four sins and the sin that Lenore is trying to avoid. I would hate to see her die, but I would hate for her to turn into something she doesn't want to be.
ReplyDeleteWhat you want to bet that Cas and Crowley were using the souls of monsters in their war machine and Mother Eve is just trying to protect her family?
ReplyDeleteAgreed absolutely. I don't think Lenore wants to get to that level either. With Eve constantly talking in her head all day and trying to entice her. I'd hate to see her die too, and I would also hate for her to turn into something she doesn't want to be. It just parallels Madison's story as well as Sam's demon blood addiction.
