They're back!
After too many weeks of reruns, Raising Hope comes back with an episode called "Cheaters".
It was a running theme for all three generations of the family.
Burt introduces Jimmy to the perfect nosed Zoey at daycare. She digs his shirt. She likes Pancake the band. He likes to eat pancakes. Burt suggests they should either see one or eat the other together. Zoey is definitely showing an interest, giving him her number in case his fake girlfriend also gets executed.
Jimmy is still holding out for Sabrina and thought of a way to make a move. He makes her suspect Wyatt is cheating on her at college. His parents tell him to go with her. If a cute girl like her wanders around campus needing a hug, at least a hundred guys and six women are willing to give it to her. Sabrina even admitted later that she might sleep with the next ten guys she sees.
Meanwhile, when Maw Maw meets Mel (Jerry Van Dyke) while she starts hanging out at daycare, Virginia says it's like cheating on her dead husband and pulls her out. Burt finds out what really was bothering her. Virginia worries if Burt could be with someone else if she dies first. They assure each other that there would be no one else. "You're it for me forever." Furthermore, while they cuddle (Aw!), Burt admits that if that should happen, he would have her stuffed and keep around for cold nights. Eww!
Jimmy's plans backfire. They show up at Wyatt's frat party all pimped up. After Sabrina catches Wyatt kissing another girl, Wyatt drives them around recklessly to convince her he wasn't cheating. He was getting back at her for kissing Jimmy on Halloween. To ease the tense situation Jimmy admits the kiss was his fault then watch Sabrina and Wyatt make out.
Maw Maw and Jimmy commiserate over ice cream and the Katherine Heigl movie he rented. Batty Mel, who happens to be Zoey's granddad, is hitting on an Asian lady now. Jimmy considers Maw Maw's words. "They wouldn't call it falling in love if you didn't get hurt sometimes... Plenty of other fish in the sea." So he goes out with Zoey.
