We're pleased to announce that we've made some improvements to the Navigation here at SpoilerTV based on your great feedback. We've introduced a new set of Icons that expose some of the more hidden features here at SpoilerTV so that you have quick access to them.
A massive thanks to the talented Jill who spent her own free time in creating these great looking graphics for us to use.
The icons appear at the top of the page and provide you with quick 1 click access to some of the features that you may not have even known existed.
We hope you find them useful. Any bugs/suggestions please let us know.
Also we're progressing well with some new features coming soon.
1) A fully configurable Android Application for SpoilerTV
2) A fully configurable iPhone Application for SpoilerTV
3) A very cool looking Application for the iPad
4) We're also working on the ability for all videos to work on all of the above devices regardless of whether you have Flash installed
5) An improved Chrome Extension to provide faster operation
6) An extension, like the Chrome one but for Firefox.
7) Plus more features in the future.

Looks great to me mate... the buttons all work well and are really clear to use. Over the next week I'll go through the help and about section and make them a bit more up to date :)

I love how the banner isn't even included in the upcoming things nowadays... I reckon I'll have seen the Alcatraz Series Finale by the time the guy finishes that :P

ReplyDeleteNice work! I used the TV Listings page all the time (great way to quickly see what TV shows are airing today) but it was kind of buried away from view - this makes it nice and easy to access. An iPhone app will be really cool too.

ReplyDeleteI was wondering why these icons were being awesome/having a party over on the team test page, while the main page floundered in drop down lists! Yay :D! I haven't actually used the primetime listings function here, but now that it isn't buried, it will be VERY useful. Same with My STV (which I used, but only sparingly).
ReplyDeleteAlso, while we're on the subject of the chrome extension, I've noticed in the last few weeks that it spits out random/high numbers with regards to how many new posts I have to see. For example, there have been 5 since I last checked, but it claims I have 149. Sometimes, I'll come home after a day or two out, and fine over 1500 new posts (although in reality it's only 30 or 40).

ReplyDeleteOne question or maybe suggestion... Are you going to add the icons on every page or just keep them on the home page? I Thought of it once or twice as I was moving from one area to another and had to do it the "old-fashioned" way". Either way... nice job on the icons!
