I was kind of speechless and had to rewatch... If that's what we get in 30 seconds, I can't wait to see the full episodes. Everything's brought up (Kalinda, kids, election, betrayal, place to live) . And we're also brought back to the beginning: at the very beginning of season 1 she stood by Peter, ashamed but feeling she had to; at the beginning of season 2, she stood by him but felt pulled in other directions; and now...
I like her kids and I think they're smart, and quite resourceful. With a few mouse clicks and some savvy schoolmates, they'll figure it out. And Alicia does a good job with them.
I agree... they're unlike other TV-teens, who speak in quips and spend their time being mean or jackasses and generally act smarter than the useless adults around them. But Grace and Zach, for all their flaws and silly enthusiasms and vulnerabilities and certainties, are like real teenagers -- the others are just tv fantasies.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
WOW
ReplyDeletethat pretty much sums it up

Good for Alicia!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl!! Love it! She's put up with enough. Can't wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteFINALLY!
ReplyDeleteIs it bad that I kind of wish those kids harm? They're totally going to give her shit for leaving Peter, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteI think the only way for them not to give her hell is if she tells the kids what really happenned. But she won't and they will give her hell...
ReplyDeleteIt was about time and please please pretty pretty please give me a Will/Alicia scene.
ReplyDeleteBtw, I'm curious about Jackie's reaction. I think she'll go nuts.
Even if she did tell them, I think they'd try to stop her from leaving Peter.
ReplyDeleteI really dislike them. It bothers me when television shows make teenagers that needy and vulnerable. I mean, no teenager acts like Alicia's kids.
Well, I think it's understandable for them not to want her to leave Peter. He's their father after all.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm not that sure about teenagers not being that needy and vulnerable...
I second that: a Will/Alicia scene please....please...please....
ReplyDeleteReally? I think all teenagers act like her kids. Except her kids are a lot more level and mature than most I've come into contact with.

ReplyDeleteAnd send that girlfriend to Europe or wherever the heck she was headed to before Will said, "Don't go."
ReplyDeletecan someone tell me what grace said?
ReplyDelete"Mum, you need to protect us" is what she said.
ReplyDeleteI wanna see Will's face once he finds out about this break up. So much fun.

ReplyDeleteshe was headed to London. For the Olympics.
ReplyDeleteWHY in the world she'd give that up is beyond me.
what do you make of it?
ReplyDeleteGiving up a career opportunity of a lifetime to stay with a guy who doesn't seem to love you much = stupid.
