Why do I have a bad feeling about this? Is he going back as a writter Or supervising producer? He didn't write nothing worth mentioning. Will we go back to the old season 1 scheme? Is this an attempt to bring Fringe to it's procedural roots, so that it can get more ratings? Like some sort of Plan B that Fox demanded because of the ratings. I'm now a bit afraid about this.
These are pretty cool episodes, well, The Ghost Network is forgettable, but The Transformation is one of the best standalones and The Road Not Taken was a great mythological episode.
Yeah. Usually Polivia is Peter and Olivia and FOlivia is Frank and Olivia, but don't confuse FOlivia with Fauxlivia... which of course is the alternate Olivia form 'over there'. LOL
yeah I got that part lol. I was talking about blaming him for it. Is that for the shippers or the anti-shippers? I know it was said in jest but why mention it at all. Not jumping to any conclusions here, just curious.
And yet some fans still want to go back...but to what? Episodes like "The No-Brainer"? Hell no. Go watch CSI or NCIS or SHIT, but don't go pulling Fringe back to "Criminal does something; later caught" format.
Absolutely right. But one writer out of 10 or I don`t know how many, can`t change the show`s format. This is up to Jeff Pinkner and Joel Wyman.
And I think that the first season was bad for many people cause of this: When Fringe first started, FOX gave it the frist season with 13 episodes, but because the ratings were good (more than 10 mil), FOX ordered another 8 episodes (but aired only 7). What does this mean? That they had written those episodes with the main storyline and then to fill the void they had to write some new episodes but due to harsh to make it, those episodes are not very good. At least I think so, but I may be wrong.
Interesting thing is that when I say something bad about Gossip Girl, people say that who is the right person to decide which show is good etc. So basicaly they are trying to push me away from discussion. But you here say that CSI, NCIS and shows like that are shit, but no admin tells you anything about it.
Hehe...that's because I'm not directly implying CSI or NCIS are shitty shows. That's only based on how you infer my sentence. I say one should go watch CSI/NCIS "or" SHIT if they want a procedural :D
*laughter* People are aware sensitively when it comes to this relationship. Why do I find that so endearing even when I'm somewhat apathetic? But I don't know, that's a weird comment coming from Orci. It could be approached positively or negatively: Don't blame me for what happened to them, or will happen to them, how they happened, or that they happened at all.
In addition to the already supplied 'Post Olivia,' POlivia could also be interpreted as Pissed Off Livia, but I think that's my brain amusing itself. :P Not only is the show cryptic but the people involved in it are, and insufferably so.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
what does this mean?!
ReplyDeletepeter + olivia?
ReplyDeletenot sure if I want this. season one was the worse of all seasons.
ReplyDeleteWhy is he talking about POlivia?
ReplyDeleteLeave them alone.

I'm trying to remember who this is...someone from season 1?
ReplyDeleteThis is Roberto Orci's brother. He was responsible for episodes like 'The Ghost Network', 'The Transformation', 'The Road Not Taken'.
ReplyDeleteThese are pretty cool episodes, well, The Ghost Network is forgettable, but The Transformation is one of the best standalones and The Road Not Taken was a great mythological episode.
ReplyDeleteWell he can stay in Hawaii if he thinks he can mess with POlivia or make it insignificant.
ReplyDeleteIf that is the plan it may backfire. I think it only lasted this long BECAUSE of the more serialized nature of the last year or two.
ReplyDeleteYeah. Usually Polivia is Peter and Olivia and FOlivia is Frank and Olivia, but don't confuse FOlivia with Fauxlivia... which of course is the alternate Olivia form 'over there'. LOL
ReplyDeleteNot jump to conclusion, That's not what he meant, he was just kidding.
ReplyDeleteI agree.. Don't jump to any conclusions, but....
ReplyDeleteJJ Abrams created series have a nasty habit of "rewarding" any truly happy couple with trauma, drama and overall pain...

ReplyDeletePost Olivia could be another possibility...

ReplyDeleteMaybe the bald child, the beacon, and ZFT will return next season. Still waiting on Jessup...
ReplyDeletei dont care if he's back or not as long as he doesnt mess with Polivia. He better be joking. period.

Personally I think JR returning is a good thing. Lets see how it plays out.
ReplyDeleteLooks like things are going to be hard on them??? Nice little warning in advance? :D
