Doctor Who Reviews
Late thoughts (apologies, but that's what wrecking your surgically repaired knee does to you!) on last night's Doctor Who premiere. Read my review of "The Impossible Astronaut." Has Matt Smith become your Doctor? And could Mark Sheppard be any more awesome?
I also think Mark Sheppard is awesome. I swear, you can give that guy any role and he'll just nail it.
ReplyDeleteSee, I am really loving Matt Smith, like a lot. He is exactly what a Doctor should be. However, he will never by 'my' Doctor - its always the first one you end up watching and for me its Chris Eccleston.
ReplyDeleteYes, Matt Smith is my doctor. I hardly know when it happened, but he is. He captures so many of my favorite attributes of other favorite Doctors, but also makes the role wholly his own. He really does play the Doctor's age better than anyone before him has managed, and while he's incredibly good at the comedy, I've found his heavy, emotional scenes absolutely convincing. I'm awed by this guy.
ReplyDeleteAlso: Marc Sheppard=awesome. Always. By all means, bring this guy back as often as possible!
