The actor who played Al Capone will join the critically-acclaimed crime drama in a recurring role as a gangster from Philadelphia.
William Forsythe has been tapped to play a gangster in the upcoming season of HBO's Boardwalk Empire.
The recurring role as Manny Horvitz on the acclaimed, Prohibition-era gangsterdrama follows his stint as Al Capone on the early 1990s TV series, The Untouchables, based on the film by the same name.
Charlie Cox is also reportedly joining the cast as an Irish gangster with ties to the IRA.
