These sharing buttons help more than you know in spreading the word about SpoilerTV and only take a section to click on. So please if you like an article tweet it to your friends, facebook like and share on any of the other many social networks. It really helps us help you.

Hey Guys,

Andy and myself have been working on redo-ing the FAQ/Help Section of the website so any new visitors can see how SpoilerTV works, as well as some of the older friends we have seeing how all of our new features and advances in improving the website work. We've just finished and you can find it in general over HERE but I've copied it all into this post for you all to have a look through. We're doing so many thing I guarantee there's something we offer you didn't know about. I hope it's useful...

How Does SpoilerTV Work?
New people are visiting SpoilerTV all the time and to avoid people emailing the staff asking questions about how to use the site, how to stay updated etc etc. we have put together this section which explains everything about the site.
If you want to know how to get the most out of SpoilerTV, read this guide...

Working Your Way Around The Site

Navigation of the Home Page - All Content
The site's homepage, spoilertv.com provides a constant stream of TV news, information, spoilers, teasers, reviews &articles from across the globe. The most current item is at the top of the page.

Clicking on a post title will take you to the content of that post as well as giving you the ability to view any comments that have been left or to add your own thoughts.

Instead of clicking on the post title, you now have the option to pop out the content of a specific post. This is done by clicking on the blue TV Screen symbol to the left of the post title:

Clicking this will pop open the specific content without leaving the homepage:

Finding Show Specific Content
Instead of searching through tons of all the content to find information on specific shows, you can search for that individual show in a few ways.

1. Find the show you want on the main menu bar at the top of the homepage. Shows are sorted by US network, for example 'Fringe' can be found under 'FOX':

2. You can also find the show by selecting it from the Drop-Down menu (Alphabetical Order) on the right hand side of the homepage:

3. Clicking one of the 'Labels' that can be found attached to every post on the site:

4. Finally, you can specifically type what you are looking for into the 'Search Bar' on the right hand side of the homepage and it will find the most relevant posts related to your search:

Submitting TV Scoop
SpoilerTV relies on you, as TV fans to help us bring as much TV content as possible onto the website. To do that you can 'Submit a Scoop' by clicking on the 'Click To Submit Scoop' on the right hand side of the homepage:

Clicking 'Submit a Scoop' will bring you to a Pop-Up Box where you simply enter name, email address, the website url of where you found the information (for us to validate) and then a description of what you have found. Click Submit and it will arrive with the SpoilerTV staff:

Customising SpoilerTV
There is now the option to customise SpoilerTV in a few ways, such as removing the welcome section, the banner, the recent comments section and the search form as well as changing the colour scheme of the website.
The first four customisations are available to be changed HERE

The ability to change the colour scheme is available on the homepage by selecting the tab in the welcome box and choosing a colour scheme:

Feedback
We're always looking for you to help us make the site better, and you can do that by heading HERE and letting us know what you would like to see on SpoilerTV in the future.

SpoilerTV on your Mobile

We realise that a lot of people now use their mobile more and more to access content on the Internet and to stay up to date. I use my mobile (Nexus One) more and more these days.

We've designed SpoilerTV to be as Mobile Friendly as possible with all the latest smartphones and if you have one of the latest Android Phones the flash videos etc should all work.

Simply goto our Mobile Site here.

m.spoilertv.com

If you want to access specific shows on your mobile the you read about how to do it HERE.

SpoilerTV Television Page
We've created some easy to use pages that will allow you to catch up and watch your favorite shows from a number of the main Networks. A lot of the content is still USA only due to the strict licensing laws. We hope that overtime we can bring more content that is not restricted to the USA only.
You can access the page directly HERE or via the Features Menu.

SpoilerTV Video Portal Page
This video page will allow you to view nearly all the videos that we've posted on the site in one convenient place and is a great way to catch up on any video you may have missed.
To use the player simply goto the Video Portal Page and start browsing.

At the Top Right of the player you will see the list of Channels that we have created. There are channels for Behind the Scenes, Sneak Peeks, Promos, Movies etc. You can scroll through the channels by using the little Left and Right Arrows and then clicking on the Channel Name.

Also, an added benefit is that you can also add this Video Player/Portal onto your site. Simply copy the embed code from HERE and paste it onto your site. Your readers will also get the latest videos as soon as we post them.

Any video that you play, you can easily copy it to your site or blog by clicking on the Share button and copying the embed code. You can then paste that code onto your site/blog so that others can view it.

Things Coming in the Future

We're always looking at ways to improve the site and to provide features that make it easier for you to use. Below are some of the features we've currently got in our To Do list.

Firefox and Safari Browser Extensions
With the success of our Chrome Extension, we're looking at migrating the code so that it can work for users of the Firefox and Safari Browsers.

More Customisations
We're looking at new ways to improve the customisation of SpoilerTV. This will include things like adding more Themes, More Shows to the my.spoilertv.com page, the ability to select from a number of different available banners.

Improve Mobile Options
We hope to improve on our mobile versions of the site to improve usability and to allow you to comment on the site.

Improved Chrome Extension
We're hoping later this year to add some more feature to our Chrome Extension.

Plus whatever you guys and girls can think of. You can leave ideas and vote on existing ones HERE.
