"Scariest or most chilling Horror character in a Movie?"
As a HUGE Horror fan I love this question and one that I thought long and hard about.
I finally decided on the vampire Kurt Barlow from Salom's Lot. I saw this when I was about 12 and it scared the living daylights out of me and even now, some 30 years later, it still manages to scare me.
I'd like to also list some others that I thought long and hard about.
Regan - From the original The Exorcist
Hannibal Lecter - The original Silence of the Lambs - Chilling and magnificently acted.
Leatherface - From the Texas Chainsaw Massacre - Truely deranged.
The Tall Man - Phantasm
Damien Thorn - The Omen movies
Norman Bates - Psycho
IT - The Clown. I've never liked clowns.
Samara - The Ring
