Glee-Episode 2.12-Silly Love Songs-Recap

Tonight's Glee was in a word(s)...almost perfect. I say almost because nothing can really be perfect, but tonight Glee got really really close.

The storyline between Puck and Lauren is absolutely hiliarious, semi offensive but all around amazing. The two work so well together that their badassness is unstoppable. And Ashley FInk (Lauren) is hysterically funny so we definately love her as a Gleek.

Finchel fans are in up roar about their break up and his new found interest in Quinn (???) Agreed it makes no sense and completely random...but it actually kind of works. They are really cute together and this time around Finn actually has confidence and stands up to Quinn. However its still a little hard to get over the mess that is Finn-Quinn-Rachel-Puck. What it comes down to, is Finn was okay to forgive Puck for getting his girlfriend pregnant and for kissing Rachel. He's okay to forgive Quinn for sleeping with his best friend and getting pregnant. AND he is also okay with cheating on Quinn with Rachel and now Quinn cheating on Sam with him. What he is not okay with...Rachel kissing Puck...yeah it really makes no sense...like at all.

He does try and clear it up a little when Quinn confronts him about the cheating and he says that it proves that neither Rachel or Quinn really loved him....so does that mean he didn't really love Quinn or Rachel? Choose your words carefully Mr. Hudson.

I digress only because the last scene with Rachel and Finn in the nurses office was beyond lovely. Lea and Cory prove in this scene alone that Finchel is not dead, and that there could not be a better almost-couple on TV. Their chemistry is fantastic. Also can we give him around of applause for giving her that necklace and telling her he believes in her talent? It was great and very big of Finn...it was good to see the old Finn who told Rachel how much he believed in her.

Lets talk Puck and his Fat Bottom Girls...amazing....Mark Salling has a very unique voice and with his swagger...the performance was all kinds of sexy and I loved it. Artie and Mike sure know how to show their love to their P.Y.T's and lets talk about Kevin McHale's voice...so sexy and the song is so great.

Blaine, Blaine..what are you doing! Okay so the whole scene was a little miss guided as to who he loved, but the performance and song...spot on. Robin Thicke brings such a uniquness to his songs and Darren brought that all out in When I Get You Alone...such a great number.

Rachel as a Firework? I LOVE IT...what i dont love? The intense auto tune and Ryan Murphy choosing to not let Lea change up the pace of the song and make it more her. It was a straight copy of Katy Perry down to the exact same vocal rifts...not very original...but Lea Michele can make any song her's regardless of the studio crutches.

Overall the episode was 4/5 easy....so great to see Glee back on it's game

Favorite Scene: Finn and Rachel in the nurses station angst ridden and amazing. Equally amazing performances by Lea and Cory
Tied with the Slumber Party with Rachel, Kurt and Mercedes it is soooo good to see Rachel with friends.

Favorite song: Tie again Fat Bottom Girls and P.Y.T
Funniest line of the episode: Brittany: Is the word Love? Yes! Totally going to graduate. lol...ohh Heather Morris never ever change.
