There's cause for a little concern if you're a fan of Chase: according to Access Hollywood, Jesse Metcalfe (who plays Luke Watson on the NBC drama) has signed up for another TV series. He'll be a part of the Dallas remake for TNT. Brittany Frederick
Here's the quote: TNT confirmed to Access Hollywood on Wednesday that former "Chase” and “Desperate Housewives” hunk Jesse Metcalfe had been cast as Christopher, the adopted son of Bobby and Pam Ewing.
This doesn't necessarily mean that Metcalfe is off Chase, as the Dallas pilot hasn't even been shot yet, let alone ordered to series. And other actors have balanced working on two series at the same time (like Kevin Alejandro until recently with Southland and True Blood); depending on the timing, Metcalfe might be able to do both.
Yet it also can't be reassuring that the NBC show's main cast are taking jobs on other series, either.
Chase remains on hiatus after moving from Mondays to Wednesdays to make room for Harry's Law.
