Smallville/Supernatural - Confirmed Revised Episode Airdates

On Thursday, the CW announced that the return dates of 'Supernatural' and 'Smallville' had been pushed back a week -- instead of returning from their winter breaks tonight, Jan. 28, they're now returning Feb. 4. I know, grrr.

The main reason for the switcheroo is to give 'The Vampire Diaries' and 'Nikita' another airing on Friday, which they may well need after going up against 'American Idol' on Thursday.

Let's look ahead, though, shall we? If you're worried this will keep happening, don't. A CW representative said that the kind of sudden scheduling upheavals we saw this week won't be a regular thing. Once 'Smallville' and 'Supernatural' return, fans can look forward to new episodes of both shows until March.
