Last Week's Winners - Favorite Episode
We are now through most of the winter hiatus, which means we are down to the final 3 weeks of weekly polls before the return of Supernatural. Before we get started this week, let's look at last week's winners for favorite episode. We had some great discussion in the comments section. Keep it up! You make hellatus pass by faster.
Season One - Devil's Trap with 86 votes followed by Faith with 62 votes.
Season Two was close with All Hell Breaks Loose - Part Two winning with 79 votes and What Is and What Should Never Be in second with 71 votes.
Season Three saw Mystery Spot in the lead with 99 and then A Very Supernatural Christmas with 66.
Lazarus Rising won for Season Four with 79 votes and On the Head of a Pin had 54 votes.
With the most votes by far, Swan Song won for Season Five with a whopping 140 votes. At second was Changing Channels with 108.
This Week's Topic: Favorite Characters
This week we are going to look at favorite characters, recurring or one-shot. For purposes of these polls, I will not accept Dean, Sam, Bobby, or Castiel as nominations. They will either cause brother wars, which I am not the least bit interested in starting or they would make the polls completely lopsided. That wouldn't be fun for anyone much less cause good conversation. There are so many good Supernatural characters. Please choose someone else.
Thanks to everyone who suggested that we nominate characters by categories. Here's who we are nominating:
Favorite Human (not Dean, Sam, or Bobby)
Favorite Demon
Favorite Angel (not Castiel)
Favorite Other
Since this is Supernatural, gray areas are bound to come up. Take for instance Gordon Walker. He started as a human but ended as a vampire. In this case, he would be in the human category because he was a human for more of the series than he was a vampire. However, the Trickster was always an angel even if the Winchesters did not know he was one. Therefore, he goes in the angel category instead of Other. Confused yet? I will try to make categories as fair as possible, but please know that some things may overlap.
As always, we will nominate on Monday and Tuesday and then vote late Tuesday/early Wednesday. A new poll will go up each day until we finish. Please nominate up to 2 people/creatures in each category in the comments below. Happy SPN conversations!
