Is J.J. Abrams bringing Pulp Fiction to TV?
Not exactly.
Abrams' production company, Bad Robot, is developing Pulp, a crime drama set in a slightly heightened reality, not unlike Quentin Tarantino's neo-noir classic, TVLine reports.
Monica Breen and Alison Schapker, veterans of Abrams' Alias, Lost and Fringe, wrote the script and would serve as executive producers.
Bad Robot will begin pitching Pulp to networks next week, making it the fourth Abrams project that could receive a series order for next fall. His other projects are Alcatraz, starring Jorge Garica, at Fox, the Michael Emerson-Terry O'Quinn starrer Odd Jobs at NBC, and an untitled crime thriller with screenwriter Jonathan Nolan at CBS.
