LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Let the annual "American Idol" changes begin.

FOX has expanded the show's January 26 broadcast to two hours, network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively.

Said change will bump the previously scheduled "Human Target" that night to Monday, January 31 at 8:00/7:00c, which in turn will pre-empt "House."

Earlier today, FOX rescheduled last night's "Human Target" installments for Friday, January 14, meaning the next three airings of the series will air on three different nights. In total, five episodes of "Human Target" have yet to air.

To recap:

Friday, January 14
8:00/7:00c - "Human Target" (Back-to-Back Episodes - Special Night)

Wednesday, January 19 & 26
8:00/7:00c - "American Idol" (Two-Hours)

Monday, January 31
8:00/7:00c - "Human Target" (Special Night)
9:00/8:00c - "Lie to Me" (Season Finale)

Wednesday, February 2 & 9
8:00/7:00c - "American Idol"
9:00/8:00c - "Human Target" (Season Finale on February 9)

Separately, we've also managed to confirm a new one-hour "Family Guy" has been slated for Sunday, February 27 at 8:30/7:30c leading into a special original "American Dad" at 9:30/8:30c. (A repeat of "Dad" will also air in its regular 7:30/6:30c slot.) Both will bump "Bob's Burgers" and "The Cleveland Show" on the night.
