Gossip Girl Exclusive: Lily's Sister Returns!
One of the remnants of Gossip Girl‘s ill-fated ’80s based prequel series is about to surface on the Upper East Side.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that Illeana Douglas (Ghost World, Ugly Betty, Six Feet Under) has been cast in the potentially recurring role of Lily’s older sister Carol.
Krysten Ritter originated the character in the season 2 flashback episode, which also served as a backdoor pilot for the DOA spinoff.
Douglas is slated to debut in early April and, according to a Gossip Girl insider, she won’t be coming to town alone.
