LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Starz plans to give viewers an early look at its upcoming drama "Camelot."
Network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively the show's debut installment will follow the finale of "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena" on Friday, February 25 beginning approximately at 11:00/10:00c.
"Camelot" then will formally launch Friday, April 1 at 10:00/9:00c as previously announced.
Earlier this month, Showtime used a similar tactic to showcase the first 20 minutes of its upcoming drama "Shameless" (due Sunday, January 9) following the season finale of "Dexter" while NBC sampled a post-pilot episode of its midseason comedy "Perfect Couples" (launching Thursday, January 20) after "The Sing Off's" December 20 finale.
Starz however will offer up the full 64-minute premiere of "Camelot."
AMC recently did the same for "Rubicon" after the season finale of "Breaking Bad," while last fall FX served up the opener to "Archer" after the fifth season premiere of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
