It's Friday night. That means an all new Law & Order: UK on BBC America. Here's the lowdown on tonight's episode, "Alesha." (Warning: this episode deals with issues of sexual assault.)
In this episode of Law & Order: UK, the last of its first series, things are about to get personal. "Alesha" is based on 1992's "Helpless," which gave the spotlight to Dr. Elizabeth Olivet (Carolyn McCormick). As you can gather by the title, its UK equivalent is a showcase for Freema Agyeman, who called it "the biggest challenge I've ever been faced with in my career." That should tell you how awesome of an episode this is, but I'm happy to add my contribution to its praises. You can check out the rest at Digital Airwaves, which has full coverage of Law & Order: UK from moment one. Don't miss out!
