Cougar Town - Zach Braff To Guest Star

Zach Braff is to make a guest appearance on ABC comedy Cougar Town.

Fancast reports that the actor, known for playing Dr John 'J.D.' Dorian on Scrubs, will reunite with the medical sitcom's creator Bill Lawrence for an upcoming episode.

Braff will apparently appear in animated form when Laurie (Busy Phillips) downloads an 'appetiser app' to her cell phone that features the star offering culinary advice.

Bill Lawrence previously promised that the second season of Cougar Town would feature a guest appearance from a former Scrubs star.

Ken Jenkins, who played Dr. Kelso on the axed series, played the father of Jules (Courteney Cox) in an episode that aired on October 27.
