Welcome back to Cougar Town. You are about to join the extended Cobb family as they are all sitting around having a party in their mouthes (because of all the red wine they are drinking, of course), and playing a drinking game called movie mashup (it's more of a game that is played while drinking, than a drinking game really). During the game, one has to give descriptions of two movies that share the same word in their title, while the other participants have to mash the two movies up using the shared word. Sounds easy right? I know. Not for Jules though. Poor Jules was the only one not guessing anything. Not even when she woke Grayson in the middle of the night, inflicting him pain, just so he'll help her solve one mashup.
As the time passes, Travis leave for collage is getting closer, and Jules doesn't feel she can handle it all by herself. She decides to ask for help. Sadly it is from the wrong person as the shrink she finds is a psychopath herself. Glenn, the shrink, tries to make an emotional connection with Jules by sharing stories of her own experiences with her darling baby Gabriel.
Jules is not the only one going crazy, as she drags Grayson along the path. Grayson feels he can't handle all Jules – all the time, and he asks her for a twenty four hours break. Naturally, this only makes Jules worse, so she makes Grayson come with her to see what Glenn thinks. Only, when Glenn sides with Grayson, Jules is left with only one choice, stalk Glenn some more. This time, at her day off outside her Yoga class with her accomplice Elli. Unfortunately, Glenn sees Jules first and makes a run for it hitting a car in the process. By this time, both Jules and Elli notice her. Elli sees this opportunity as a way to gain her almost job back, as the person who listens to Jules problems and stops her from doing stupid things. She tells Jules that Glenn is crazy, because she didn't intend to leave a note on the injured car after she hit it.
Although Jules has a hard time believing all of this at first, she is finally convinced that Glenn is crazy when she finds out that the dear Gabriel she was referring to all the time, was just a dog. A loving one, a companion no doubt, but still, just a dog.
Elli regaining her throne, stops Jules from throwing herself desperately on Grayson, asking for his return. It pays off for Jules, as Grayson is back before the twenty four hours are over, helping Jules finally win at movie mashup.
Meanwhile at the other side of town, Travis is telling Laurie that she will miss him when he goes off to collage, because he makes her feel younger. However Laurie claims that although Travis is indeed young, he acts like a much older man. They place a bet saying that whoever can stay awake the longest will win $20. Laurie cheats, because she is only doing this to watch Travis suffer, but in the end she admits how much she will miss him.
Bobby too, has a difficulty expressing his emotions. For him it is regarding Jules and Grayson. He feels that he has no one to talk to about it, and therefore he takes it out on a park bench with Jules' picture on it. A picture that Andy likes especially, as he always eats his lunch next to it. Andy appalled by the act of vandalism, cleans the sign up, but it doesn't stay like this for long. While Andy, Bobby and Grayson conduct a stakeout near the bench, an anarchist does it again. This time though, Grayson discovers it was Bobby all along. Bobby confesses his feelings, so in an act of kindness, Grayson comes to his boat to support and listen to him. Aw.
This is all for now, until next time, still in Cougar Town.
