The more I "investigate" this show, the more hyped I am becoming. The cast, just wow. Vinnie Jones, Keith David (The Thing!!), Cameron from TSCC :), etc. They are putting so much just into the score, which I believe is something very, very important to a show like this and could draw an audience in just by the first few seconds of the premiere. Giving each cast member their own original score is an awesome idea! I still hate NBC, but whatever.
The show may look very cartoon-like in the beginning but the producers said it will not be treated that way; it will be a mix of action, drama and comedy. It may not be as dramatic as "The Event" but i'm sure it will be fun to watch and aimed at a large audience, and not scifi oriented. Remember there is no superpowers in "The Cape" and no superheroes, kind like in Batman.
The clips from the pilot look a bit cheesy but it's only to introduce the story and the characters. I'm pretty confident the following episodes will be entertaining.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
