JUDD HIRSCH TO REUNITE WITH ROB MORROW ON ABC'S "THE WHOLE TRUTH"

Judd Hirsch will reunite with Rob Morrow, his son from "Numb3rs," when he guest stars on "The Whole Truth" (airdate TBD in October). Hirsch will play Judge Ruben Wright, a distinguished and well-respected jurist who is accused of corruption and murder. He asks Jimmy Brogan (Morrow), whom he has often chastised for colorful but inappropriate behavior in his courtroom, to represent him. Kathryn Peale (Maura Tierney), who tried the first case of her career in front of Judge Wright, reluctantly takes on the task of prosecuting him. "The Whole Truth" airs Wednesdays at 10:00 p.m., ET on ABC, beginning September 22.

"The Whole Truth" employs a unique alternating narrative structure that chronicles the way a case is built from the perspectives of both the defense and the prosecution. Portraying each side equally keeps the audience guessing - shifting allegiances and opinions on guilt or innocence until the final scene.

Creating two different stories from the same set of facts, this up-close, behind-the-scenes look at the legal process mirrors the excitement of a great championship match. Ultimately, it becomes evident that innocence and guilt have nothing to do with the truth - the only thing that matters at the end of every trial is what the jury believes.

"The Whole Truth" stars Rob Morrow as Jimmy Brogan, Maura Tierney as Kathryn Peale, Eamonn Walker as Sr. ADA Terrence "Edge" Edgecomb, Anthony Ruivivar as Alejo Salazar, Christine Adams as Lena Boudreaux and Sean Wing as Chad Griffin.

Produced by Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Warner Bros. Television, "The Whole Truth" is executive-produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (the "CSI" series), Jonathan Littman (the "CSI" series) and Ed Zuckerman ("Law & Order"). Tom Donaghy ("Without a Trace"), who wrote the pilot, and KristieAnne Reed ("Dark Blue") are co-executive producers. Also working on the series will be legal consultant Elizabeth Rosen-Mayer, a former Manhattan defense attorney and law professor, and staff writer Kevin Hynes, a former Manhattan Assistant District Attorney and criminal defense attorney.
