What’s up freaks, geeks and voyeurs, welcome back to another edition of Big Brother 12!
Sometimes, life gets in the way and as such, the lack of updates lately sucks but the show has heated up and boiled over. Lots of stuff to talk about since the last episode I’ve talked to you about and as always, SPOILERS will be included at the end.
This past week has shown the power shift in the house taking a dramatic turn with Brendon winning the HoH competition. Hayden and Enzo both agree that Brendon isn’t so bad, afterall and are thinking of including him into the Brigade, replacing Matt as their target to be voted out. Once Ragan won the PoV competition and Brendon put up Matt as the replacement, we had Matt vs Lane as the two to be evicted. However, we all know that Matt holds the Diamond Power of Veto which means he can take himself off the block AND name the replacement nominee. My prediction was that Matt would take himself off and put Kathy up with Kathy being evicted. Let’s see if I was correct.
On Thursdays episode, we saw Matt having to act like he’s upset about leaving but he knows he’s 100% safe and Ragan is taking it very hard. Matt even goes so far as to give a gratutious wink to the camera as Ragan sits next to him, near tears. The tension continues to build as Enzo pretty much confirms to Matt that he’s being evicted and hence, Matt might look elsewhere for a new alliance(good thinking). I wonder if the Brigade knew that Matt had the Diamond PoV, would they have turned on him or would they have been celebrating another Brigade win? The problem is, like most players in BB history, any early season alliance finds cracks and tears apart as the season goes on.
It’s time for the live eviction and Julie tells Matt that he can go first. Matt stands up and says he’s happy to play the game and congratulates Brendon on a game well-played and “Almost made it work but, you big dummy, I’m not going anywhere”(Brilliant speech). Matt pulls out the Diamond PoV and everyone’s jaw hits the floor. The Brigade is happy because one of their own doesn’t have to leave, after all and Kathy is up in Matt’s place.(DING! Score a Point for Me!) It’s time for the vote and everyone is so thrilled that Matt is safe, Britney even does a little dance before walking back into the living room. In a 5-0 vote, Kathy is evicted from the BB House. (DING AGAIN!) Great blindside! Brendon didn’t look very happy and much to my surprise, he’s NOT allowed to play in the next HoH competition.
It’s time for the HoH competition and the HG’s have to guess true of false to “Big Brother Says” questions that they’ve been having to follow all day. As people start to get taken out of the competition, Matt clearly throws the competition with a Thumbs Up to the TV Audience and it’s down to Enzo vs Britney. After a couple questions they guessed together, we come down to the final question and it’s BRITNEY who wins the HoH!!!! If a new Alliance is going to be born, this would be the person having HoH for that to happen. The “New Brigade” Split Up Already? Stay Tuned!!!
Until Next Time,

Britney nominates Enzo and Brendon for eviction. Apparently, the old Brigade is splitting apart as Enzo and Hayden do not trust Matt and question Lane’s relationship with Britney. They are thinking to bring Brendon into the fold and try to out Matt. Lane is on the bubble but to keep it at 4, they will reel him back in if they get rid of Britney within the next 2 weeks. Matt and Ragan will most likely form a bond and try to get Britney into the mix against Enzo and Hayden with Lane potentially. However, Lane could be swayed to join with Matt, Ragan and Britney to take out Hayden and Enzo. Brendon is the likely target unless he wins PoV.
