Hello again, welcome to Big Brother 12 – This episode, we learn the two nominees and we learn of a special surprise competition for the HG’s. We also continue to vote for the new Saboteur, which will be revealed on Thursday night(i think).
To start this episode, we see a recap of Andrew’s bomb shell on the entire house. Andrew throws out Hayden and Kristen’s secret showmance, how they insulted Enzo’s intelligence(AMEN) and why he should remain in the game because of all his knowledge. While the live voting is taking place, we see Hayden and Kristen trying to do damage control and asking Andrew why he would lie? The funniest line was from Kristen who said she doesn’t lie so she doesn’t understand why Andrew is trying to throw her under the bus. (BTW, Andrew is 100% telling the truth) After Andrew gets officially evicted from the house, the feeds return to the HG’s who have started to bicker at each other and they now have to play in the HoH competition. We see how Kristen went straight for Rachel and Rachel returned going back after Kristen. The final two are Lane and Rachel with Rachel becoming the new HoH!
Once the competition starts, the real fun begins. We were given a little peak of the fight as it started on Thursday night but tonight, we were given the rest and it was a real treat! Kristen got into Rachels face, Rachel doesn’t back down and everyone else is absolutely loving it(as seen in their DR sessions). I’m kind of getting sick and tired of seeing Brendon and Rachel all lovey-dovey and I’m eagerly anticipating their break-up. If they stay in the house much longer, we’re going to see them crumble, BIG TIME! Back to the game, Rachel tries to make a peace offering to Kristen and apologize for saying things in the heat of the moment. However, Kristen fights back saying she doesn’t accept her apology and she believes that Rachel is attacking her based on a lie(not true, Rachel overheard them making out before).
Rachel comes out and announces who wants to see her HoH room? I’ll never quite understand why this doesn’t happen more often but Kristen refuses to go to Rachel’s HoH room. I understand that you want to put up a front so maybe the HoH won’t put you up for the week but a target is a target and if I didn’t like someone, F that noise, I’m not going. Even Hayden went up there, as did Enzo, Britney, Lane and Matt. The only one we didn’t see make a comment of how they didn’t care to go up there was Matt as he is truly playing both sides of the house. Britney even goes so far as taking a bubble bath with Rachel to kiss her butt, Kathy kisses her butt as does everyone else EXCEPT Kristen. Hayden tells Kristen that she needs to go talk to her and try to clear the air so maybe they have a shot to advance.
We are then treated to a competition for a luxury prize. Remember, Julie said that everyone was safe from being Have-Nots for the week. The HG’s sit around the TV in the living room and Will Ferrell(ugh) and Mark Wahlberg(cool) pop up on the screen. They tell the HG’s that they will be competing for the rights to see their new movie, “The Other Guys” and get a sneak preview of the film. This is the part of being on BB I would find interesting, they were all so thrilled just to see a movie trailer. Think about that the next time you see one on TV. The competition is on as the teams consist of:
Team #1 – Lane, Matt, Britney
Team #2 – Ragan, Kathy, Kristen
Team # 3 – Brendon, Enzo, Hayden
Team #1 gets a time of 52 seconds, Team #2 gets a time of 2+ minutes and Team #3 gets a time of 47 seconds to win the competition and gets to see the movie, “The Other Guys”. Oh GREAT! Now we get to see Brendon and Rachel on a date to see a movie.(PUKE)
It’s nomanation time and Hayden’s best case scenario is having Kathy vs Kristen because they have the numbers to keep Kristen safe. However, as we see all the keys being pulled from the HoH box, it’s discovered that Rachel put up both Kristen and Hayden for eviction. Kristen fights back with a “I’m not going anywhere” to a counter “Bring it on” from Rachel. FINALLY, some fireworks in the house as I’ve heard from several readers and friends who watch this show, that it’s been TOO nice in the house up to this point. The best part of BB is the drama that can be created by a group of strangers living in a house under watch, 24 hours a day. Next Up, the PoV competition and the movie screening. Who will win the Power of Veto and will they use it to save either Hayden or Kristen? Find out next time on Big Brother 12!!

Britney has won the PoV and was trying to be convinced from Kristen to use it to save her. In return, Kristen would not put up Britney the entire rest of the game and if Kristen is in the Jury House and Britney is final two, she will vote for her against everyone EXCEPT Hayden. Britney chose to NOT use the PoV after a lot of talking and deciding the past several days. The nomations remain the same with Hayden vs Kristen.
