So the first thing I have to say is how unlucky are the people on secret life are or maybe I should say fertile.
So its season three and yes I know that they have weird seasons and that the seasons stop and start up again but if I used that then it's like season 8 and a third pregnancy in the 8th season isn't a big deal but since its more like 3 pregnancies in 3 seasons I have to ask what is in the water? fertility treatments and the birth control pills must be sugar pills because everyone is getting preggers over there.
Yes, everyone because Adrian is in fact with child (Ben's child). And we learn that in this episode she is still pregnant even though she called a clinic last episode we also learn that she is waiting on deciding till she gets to talk to her mother and that she is in fact leaning towards abortion and not telling anyone and letting them all think that she never was pregnant but Ricky asks her and the look on her face tells him everything so he goes and tells Ben because no one can keep a secret (even thought that in the name of the show). After Ricky tells Ben he tells him to shut up and called him a jerk because he was happy thinking that it wasn't true after he has his bad date with Amy he tells his father which was very heart warming because he tells him that he is afraid that she is going to end the pregnancy and it was a teenager talking to there parent about how they really feel and whats going on in there life. Now lets talk about Amy she got into a music program in New York she actually was thinking about her son and was saying no to going which was very adult but for most of the episode she was obsessed with her date with Ben and the fact that she had to have it with her family and that didn't go well with her parents fighting and the fact that Ben was thinking about Adrian's pregnancy and acting weird. Now lets talk about Ashley who has always been independent and smart but she was very independent skipping school to help Adrian. Ashley tells her to tell Ben the truth and Amy to go to the music program; how is the Freshman more mature than the teen mother and her upperclassmen. I almost forgot jack ya he spent the whole episode trying to find a place to live he asked Ricky and he said no and then asked Grace who was all pissed off about Ben getting back with Amy and not dating her, her mothers new husband, and that Adrian may have gotten an abortion.
OK now I have to just talk about the show.
First Amy gets pregnant which I understand that's what the show was about but her mother having a baby right after her teenage daughter did crazy right but not as crazy as Adrian pregnant with Ben's baby! Now I do know that this is crazy but come on its so entertaining. But confusing I mean I learned about pregnancy in child development and I went to high school (very recently I may add i just graduated last month class of 2010!) and yes there was pregnant girls walking down the hallways and I do know that you can get pregnant on your first time something Amy must not have known. And yes birth control doesn't work the first day you take it and condoms do break. But seriously how unlikely is it that your on new birth control and it hasn't started working yet that you use a condom and it breaks and it's the guy's first time and you get knocked up i mean come on that has to be like the worst luck but that's what happened to Adrian( i'm not saying it's impossible just very unlikely) . I mean what's up with this show and first or one times George and Ann have sex for the first time in a really long time and she gets pregnant; Amy does it one time and ends up a teen mother and Ben has sex one time and gets Adrian preggers.Yes sex has consequences this show teaches you that but high schoolers don't talk about it this much i was just there and we talked about other things like lip gloss. I do have to admit that this show is way more interesting than my high school and that i can't stop watching!
teenage pregnancy is 100% preventable (unless your on this show).
Megan (this was my first post so don't judge me to harshly but please leave comments)
