Congratulations to 'Arrested Development', 'The Office', 'Veronica Mars' & 'Glee' for making it through to the second round of the competition. I was surprised that 'Sex & the City' gained so few votes, but like 'The Prisoner', perhaps some fans have moved onto newer things. Also intriguing was the fact that two of the polls had over 1000 votes, whereas the others only had around 700/800. A possible hint at certain shows having bigger fanbases maybe?

Anyhow....
Today, the second day of the competition we have in this post Sunny in Philidelphia taking on The Wire, and The Mentalist's battle with Buffy. I strongly expect The Wire to grind it's way into the next round, but can the old beat the new in the second poll?
Also today we have Firefly vs. 24, and Legend of the Seeker vs. Fringe To view that post and vote, head here: http://www.spoilertv.com/2010/06/best-show-ever-round-11c-firefly-vs-24.html

The Wire
Seasons: 5 (Finished)
Format: Drama
Synopsis: Each season of The Wire focuses on a different facet of the city of Baltimore. They are, in order: the illegal drug trade, the port system, the city government and bureaucracy, the school system, and the print news media. The large cast consists mainly of character actors who are little known for their other roles. Simon has said that despite its presentation as a crime drama, the show is "really about the American city, and about how we live together. It's about how institutions have an effect on individuals, and how whether you're a cop, a longshoreman, a drug dealer, a politician, a judge or a lawyer, you are ultimately compromised and must contend with whatever institution you've committed to."
