  Fox has jumped on Eddie The Eagle, acquiring the biopic about Britain’s lovably inept first Olympic ski jumper. Continuing his relationship with Fox after starring in the studio’s action hit Kingsman: The Secret Service, Taron Egerton will play Michael Edwards, who rose to fame as the very-last-place finisher in two events at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.   Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf in Disney’s Frozen, is in final negotiations to return to the studio, this time for the its live action take on Beauty and the Beast.
  
  Gad is the first American to join the project which already has Brits Emma Watson cast as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast/Prince, and Luke Evans as the vain villain Gaston.

  Nashville co-star Oliver Hudson will be moonlighting on another series, signing on as one of the male leads in Fox’s high-profile straight-to-series comedy-horror anthology Scream Queens, from Glee creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. He will take over the role that Joe Manganiello was originally cast in. As production schedule for Scream Queens — whose cast features a slew of boldface names like Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Ariana Grande and Lea Michele — was being firmed up, it became clear that the show couldn’t accomodate Manganiello’s extensive commitments to promoting his summer film Magic Mike XXL internationally.

Every day 100's of items are submitted to us and we don't always have the time to make separate posts for the news and/or there is so much that it would quickly push all other items off the homepage.

So a result we've come up with the idea of the Newsreel, which will feature smaller shows and news items as they happen.

There will be a new Newsreel each day, and as news is added we will update the post and and push it back to the top of the site so that you can see that new items have been added. A tweet of the item will also be sent to our @SpoilerTV account.
