    I've been with TVD since the start, but Arrow wins my heart for now! I can't really judge the others seeing as I don't watch any besides Supernatural. Also, I'm always so surprised Beauty and the Beast has such a big online following, but aren't the ratings poor?

    Supernatural, but I watch more shows on CW than any other network..TVD, Hart of Dixie, Nikita, Cult, Beauty, Arrow. SPN & Arrow are the only 2 I watch the night they are on, DVR the others. Would not watch Arrow the same night except it comes on before my favorite TV show..SPN.

    Beauty and The Beast!!! Romance, action and fun all pushed in the most intriguing and exciting places with its methodology. People, give it a try and you'll be surprised how great it is previously thinking that it's some silly retake of a classic story. It's MORE! < 3

    Arrow, hands down. The only show worth watching on the channel. Brilliant characterization, top-notch fight choreography and interesting mysteries, not to mention (for once in CW channel) - people who KNOW how to dress. No unnecessary love triangles, no unnecessary fillers, just plain awesome ride so far.



    TVD is....well lets just say that you just CAN'T create more meek, boring, caring holy personality-less mary sue than elena gilbert. The show had no balls to go anywhere interesting and was all about retaining status quo. Horrible trainwrecky plotlines, lack of any sort of consequences for people's actions, lack of moral system that would allow us to see OTHER characters reacting to everything the leads do, lack of characterization and complete lack of ANY SORT OF direction killed the show. Let's not forget all the misogyny and sexism too. All it has going on now is fanservice.



    Supernatural was great for first three seasons. it was going somewhere, the characters were brilliant. And then something just...broke in fourth season - the show was dead and yet the show went on and on and on like a zombie, with no clear direction, looking less and less like its former self, as everything good slowly rotted away.



    Cult strives to BE something well, like a cult-classic. Yet writing is just not strong enough for that and show keeps going on and on in circles coming back to an old mystery-thriller cliches, making it feel like show-writers have no endgame in their minds at all.

    Beauty and the Beast ALL THE WAY... after a very long time a show has come which has all the elements and the actors are great. And ThankGOD this time we have a beast not Vampires or Warewolfs. and c'mon Kristin Kreuk Is in It. So Much Awesomeness

    Agreed. Arrow, in a way is VERY un-CW-like in terms of how its built up and written, which is a huge plus for the show, I think.

    Frankly I have not seen B&B having that big of a following outside of here. Tumblr tags of that show are mostly same old same old soap-opera-fangirls though.


    It does obviously attract a certain audience(most of daytime soaps do), but the audience is just not big enough ratings-wise.

    Supernatural is still my favorite even when sometimes i have problem with story, the way characters is portrayed. Next tv show on CW that i like is Arrow. Also watch Cult, but trying not to get involve to much. And planning watch Nikita, because i get impression from people who watch that is worth to give a try, so i hope they are right! TVD never finished season 2, because wanted kill most of main characters.

    I hate daytime soaps. But Beauty and the Beast I like. It's got a lot of action. I don't see why it's got such a different amount of viewers from TVD cause TVD's got just as much drama and romance to the action. Maybe it's the vampires. Don't know.

    The difference in ratings is because TVD was BRILLIANT in its first season and hyped people up with. The first season also was helmed by the guy who wrote Scream horror movies. It also had a series of books behind it that a lot of people grew up with.



    Of course in the end show quickly fell apart into mediocrity at the start of S2 and grew more and more worse with every second, turning into twilight the tv show, pretty much, but by that time the show already had a dedicated fanbase who kept hoping "it will surely get better" (hence why the show lost at least a million viewers from s1 to s3)



    B&B has neither of those advantages.

    As much as I loved the first 3 seasons of Supernatural, season 4 with Castiel and the Angel/Demon arc just nailed it for me. Season 4 is my favorite season from Lazarus Rising to Lucifer Rising. Season 6 & 7 were not as good, but this season may just knock s4 out of my favorite spot.

    S3 possibly was the highpoint of the show for me. I was hyped up and waiting for every episode, excited for every single plotline the show had. It was as if they took S1 and S2 and turned it all up to eleven. The idea of multiple demon factions in civil war due to power vacuum was fascinating, Ruby was great addition to the cast, Sam got a LOT of character development, more gray morality kind of stuff was great and child-Lilith was such a fascinating villain.

    Season 4 killed the show for me.

    Suddenly it got turned int "The Dean Show" with Sam being sidelined, acting OOC and so on. Entirety of Sam's plotline buildup got shafted in favor of 180 degree change in storyline. Then the whole Lucifer/Michael stuff came on and uhhh....

    And I will never forget on how they ruined Ruby in that season. She was one of my favorite characters in S3 and she got turned into a tool for misogynist propaganda in S4.

    I think TVD has gone down a lot this season, it just bugs me that now they have two 150 year old vamps that can not control a baby vamp. This just kills the show for me. Many things I have not liked this season. Glad the show did not follow the books, but since I have never cared about the originals other than Elijah maybe that has something to do with my dislike.

    I respect people's different opinions and tastes but you do need to actually watch a show to have a clear opinion. I understand how you came to that conclusion about BATB, the initial critiques were bad and marketing was very misleading, but you cannot be farther from the reality. I also had a very negative opinion of it at first. But if you take a closer look a lot of the critics have flipped their opinion because the show improved exponentially since the early episodes. It is also not at all like a soap opera, story lines are well written, and character development is believable. I am pretty sure its audience is not the same than daytime soaps as you said. I watch All CW shows, plus a million other TV shows on broadcast and cable (my favorite shows are Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy just to give you an idea) and I feel confident to say BATB is actually a well crafted show. I also understand where all the erroneous perceptions are coming from, which saddens me because the quality of the show is actually superior to the others on the network.... I just wish more ppl would give it a fair chance before deciding what it is like, and by a fair chance I mean watching at least the 10 first episodes or watch the current episodes which are truly great.

    Answer is obvious: NONE. I don't watch this crappy low quality television channel, I only care for high quality television, so I watch AMC, FX, Showtime, HBO, Starz, TNT and A&E. Only quality show today that is not on these channels is CBS's Good Wife.

    I voted for B&TB, but I also love Arrow and Supernatural. <3 These are the only shows I watch on The CW. I used to watch TVD, but the quality has taken such a nosedive in Seasons 3 and 4, that I just can't stomach watching anymore.

    i was a die hard tvd fan since season one but kinda lost touch during season 3. maybe too much vamps on tv then... and now BATB came and it has been my fave since. imo almost all the shows have the same themes (vampires, cops, agents, vigilantes, other supernatural elements) but the thing that got me hooked to BATB is the chemistry of KK and JR. also it also highlights the stories of ALL the characters in the story. i think people should give this a try coz i was hesitant at first but then i loved it since then.i mean this show has a way of making you understand the chars predicaments or situations that involve them. its not some teeny stuff, its the real thing! just sayin'.

    I would agree with most of what you say about Arrow and Cult and to lesser extent Supernatural here. I don't watch TVD. However, while seasons 1-3 were vastly superior in SPN for me too, I don't think it took a huge turn into zombie shadow of its former self until this season. I also think your praise of Arrow is far too high. It's good most definitely but not brilliant. The writers seem to have no idea what to make of Thea and her character is largely defined by whomever is writing the episode that week. Laurel to me is a gigantic Mary Sue and a hypocrite to boot. She's always calling people out, especially her dad, for doing the exact same things she does. The Undertaking mystery is teetering on the precipice of waiting too long to be unfolded, although I know we are getting answers soon, and the island mystery jumped off that cliff a long time ago. It is now boring except when people are actively fighting. The fighting sequences are as you say, top-notch - one of the best on TV. Still I would hardly say in the Huntress knew how to dress. That might be the most laughable costume I've seen this year outside of Oliver's way-too-tight leather pants designed specifically for the crotch shots and there are plenty of them. However all that pales to the dreaded and in my opinion completely unnecessary Oliver-Laurel-Tommy love triangle. It's transparent, over done, and a waste of time to boot. Given that I can't see why anyone would want Laurel anyway, having two guys fighting over her makes even less sense.

    Then don't Watch it - it's a choice which show you want to spend time on.
    I really like #BATB cause it has elements of love, drama, action, scifi and myth. The pilot wasn't that good I agree. But the show has really come a long way since then and that's why I'm still watching.

    imo, the show will never be better story telling wise as is was in season 3. simply because the writer's strike forced them to get to the damn point of the season without fillers.

    while i can't agree that sam was "sidelined" starting in season 4 since.... well... season 4 was mostly all about sam and so was season 5 what it did was start the trend of telling sam's story not through sam but through outside perspectives of sam. season 6 was the worst at this (even though i loved robosam but i think that has more to do with the way jared played it). season 4 started the whole talking about/at sam/ things happening to sam instead of him exploring the things happening around him.

    it's been like this for so long now that i honestly don't think they know how to switch back into telling sam's story through sam. they tried with the whole amelia thing but failed by giving the story a "why i like amelia" framing instead of "how i got to this place and met the people i met". it's gotten to the point that people find it hard to sympathize with his story because... who is sam?

    I continue to watch Arrow, though I don't know why. It is a show about a horrific villain who kills innocent people and doesn't even feel slightly bad about it. He seems to be killing fewer innocents after teaming up with Diggle, or maybe they just stopped showing it on screen. It is ironic that he recently gave his ex-girlfriend a hard time for killing innocents the same way he does.

    I couldn't watch more than a few episodes of Beauty or TVD and I don't watch any of the rest of the shows.

    I just started watching SPN, in season 2 now. Not great, but certainly better than any of the other CW shows I have seen, and I intend to continue watching more of it.

    I applaud the CW for their strong dedication to genre shows, I just wish that I really liked any of them.

    Supernatural. No question there for me. A show with two hunter brothers going against all odds to do what's right and fighting for free will. And it has the most epic love story ever. Dean and Castiel, a hunter and the angel who rescued him from Hell. <3 <3

    I haven't started Beauty and the Beast so I will reserve my comments on this show after watching a couple of episodes. Its fans certainly keep multiplying every day which makes me think that it might be a good series to watch after all. Supernatural, Arrow and The Vampire Diaries are all great series and I love them but the most consistently awesome series on the CW has been NIKITA in my honest opinion. I can't remember the last time I saw a mediocre episode of Nikita. I sincerely hope it gets renewed for another season!

    Totally hooked on BATB. It brings such a beautiful perspective to a love story, it is so different from all the other shows on TV, examines all the characters and allows them to shine in their own way. The deep commitment of the characters, the partnership themes are deep rooted and connect beautifully. The VINCAT love story has drawn in thousands of Beasties and fans around the world all of them cheering them on, on their journey to find true happiness and selfless commitment.

    i am very choosy when it comes to watching tv bcoz it eats time,and its been years since i last get hooked to tv series. Now with BATB i just get hooked involved.     I think Beauty and the Beast is one of those great shows that people are hesitant at first and than after giving it a try they all like: "OMG, Why haven't I watched this show earlier!???" So all still in the hesitant zone, save yourself some time of being in the dark as far as this amazing show and START WATCHING NOW!

    I'm a fun of Tvd,Nikita,once upon a time,spn, but for I don't know reasons I got hooked up to beauty and the beast and it became my favorite tv series now. There are some points in the story that I can relate to and it brings out a lot of emotions in me. The writers are very clever as well as the cast.     BATB is an awesome series! It started kinda slow but has gotten SO intense it's hard to believe its the same show!! May I suggest, if you start from the beginning, stick with it for a few eps? I have suggested this show to a few friends and everyone of them are as hooked as I am now. :)

    Well actually we started here, we already dominated it and are #5 on the popular list of this site this week and have been in the list since the end of January, on the other hands the following is growing everywhere, go to tvfanatics, tvbythenumbers, eonline, tvguide or any tv related website, twitter etc. and see how we trend every week, so I really suggest you inform yourself better before throwing nonsense like that, BATB its getting strong and there is a lot of buzzz for this show, wonder why, huh? since it is so rubbish and a chicks series.....No, its not!

    Its the only show I watch in the CW, I tried TVD & Arrow but dropped them, also watch Nikita for the first 2 episodes than nothing else...but BATB its my baby on the CW and I watch other shows in other networks but there is something about this show that makes it addictive...

    I watched the first 3 seasons of Supernatural and then stopped (too much of the same). I gave Hart of Dixie many chances but stopped watching around episode 2.06. It´s great that there are so many BATB fans in here. I´m afraid it is just not a show for me.

    Supernatural is the best one to vote for.... Besides it was difficult to chose between BatB, SPN and Arrow as they all are my top favourite BUT I had to go for my instincts... :P
    SPN is awesome as I like the brotherly bond between Jensen and Jared, they have been a part of my life since the very first episode and the first season!!! The supernatural happenings are on one side and the way they keep themselves together and never let each other slip away is the other...... So, this made my choice very easy!!! :)

    For me, Beauty and the Beast without a question. Nothing against the other shows listed, but no show has been as captivating to me as BatB. It's got it all: smart writers, talented cast, great characters, epic romance, interesting and unexpected plot twists, and humor. For anyone not already watching and hooked on this show, don't stop watching your other favorites, but I strongly suggest you give BatB a try. Watch a couple of episodes, and I'm pretty sure you will lose your heart to it that way so many others have.

    My advice to you is, if you don't like a show..DON'T WATCH, but it gives SPN fans a bad name when you start knocking someone else for their show. SPN is my favorite show on TV and has been since the pilot, but there are lots of shows out there, something for everyone. Give it a rest for the good of the show.

    Arrow has some of the worst actors on the CW, especially Katie Cassidy and Willa Holland..LMAO Yes they are unnecessary triangles and loads of stupid romantic melodrama. Its rivals Gossip girls, just with arrows. Many of the couples do not even have chemistry., yet they waste so much time with romance crap.


    Supernatural doesnt need that, its the most well plotted show on the CW, HANDSDOWN. A very talented cast , entertaining characters and with buckets of chemistry.


    SPN is still here because its a GREAT SHOW, simple as that. BEST SHOW

    BATB is unbelievably amazing show, epic chemistry! Then comes Supernatural, it's a classic. I was hoping that Arrow would be good but it´s just to unreal storyline, to the point of being silly and there is no chemistry between the actors so it becomes plain boring. Same with TVD, it's just way to heavy and gloomy, with bunch of actors that look bored out of there mind and with ultra boring storyline. Totally not getting that show.... shame because normally I love vampire shows. The other shows I haven't seen and don't plan to watch them.

    I voted for Beauty and the Beast. I was one of those people that did not give it a shot in the beginning because I loved Secret Circle. But once I started watching the show, I could not believe that I did not watch it from the beginning. I love the cast and crew. The writers are spectacular. I also watch Hart of Dixie, Nikita, VD, SPN and Arrow, but Beauty and the Beast is the only one that I have watched live.

Hence I dont watch any other show in the network anymore I outgrew out of them, even try Arrow but didnt like it. I cant consider any of the others better than BATB because I dont watch them anymore but reliviously watch BATB hence is the best CW show FOR ME.

    I´m not a hater, by no means. I love watching TV Shows and I really dislike when people are real negative about my favorite shows. so I get why you all get annoyed by all the hate the show get´s. We all have different tastes. I do get a little surpriced over the big fan base though.

    I like both shows and I think many people do so we don't have to put down one to praise another. I agree that there is too much pointless romance on Arrow - McKenna, Diggle's sis-in-law. However it is a far, far cry from Gossip Girl. Those two have nothing in common and likely attract a far different crowd. Of course Supernatural had its share of pointless romance this season too in the form of Amelia. While I agree that the cast is enormously talented and they have a lot of chemistry, one of Supernatural's biggest criticism since season 6 has be its poor pacing when it comes to the plot. In my opinion, this season is the worst. Supernatural is an awesome show but it is far from flawless and Arrow is far from a waste of time.

    I truly hope you are not actually a Supernatural fan but someone who is just still upset TSC was cancelled, because if you are, you are giving all SPN fans a bad name. I have been in the Supernatural fandom for almost 8 years now and I remember when SPN was fighting for another season. I remember the passion SPN fans had and how we were always talking up our show to gain viewers. We believed in the quality of our show and were happy to discuss it with viewers and non-viewers alike. If nothing else, the SPN fandom should have sympathy for BatB fans since they are where we were a few years ago. I do not watch BatB but more power to their fandom. I wish them all the success in the world.

    I think BatB fans' passion is great. I'm just hoping you will avoid the mistakes that the Supernatural fandom made in its middle years. So far I think the comments here from BatB and most other people have been awesome. I love when fans explain why their show is worthy of a non-viewer's time instead of putting down other shows or just saying our show is the best over and over again. By not being obnoxious, you have a chance to convert new viewers and when your show is on the bubble for renewal that's what it is all about. Kudos on a well played campaign here on SpoilerTV. You guys are making reasoned appeals that are likely to gain converts. If I didn't have such a disliking for Kristin Kreuk, I would be tempted to watch more than the 3 episodes I've seen because you are so persuasive. I wish you luck on a second season.

    I used to be a die hard TVD fan but now im still a fan but not totally die hard. I really think this season, season 4 should be the last season. But luckily BATB came and now i am a total die hard BATB fan aswell as as die hard VinCat fan. This show have absolutly everything in it romance,drama,suspense e.g. One of the main things that got me so obssessed though is the chemistry between jay and kristin. Its like their not even playing a character! Aswell as all thr other cast as they are just amazing. I think BATB have one of the most amazing casts a show could have. But i absolutly love JT, just his humour and everything else. And its not about teens. I think thats also another thing that attracted me to this show as it shows that like it not only teens that can have a romantic supernatural love story. Love BATB so much so hoping for another season!

    I admire the "Beauty and the Beast" fandom's passion, and I hope their show gets a second season. :) For me Supernatural is the best CW show. Although I feel it faltered during the Gamble years in seasons 6 and 7, I've found season 8 to be much more exciting, entertaining and engaging than the previous two seasons even with its flaws. I feel like Carver is doing a good job laying the groundwork for the show's remaining seasons, and I'm so excited to see what's going to happen next in a way I haven't been since I was watching seasons 4 and 5 on DVD. I'm also particularly thrilled that the show will have more of my character, Castiel, in season 9 with Misha Collins signed on as a regular again.

    Season 4 and Castiel made me addicted to Supernatural :) But I have to say I liked season 5 even a bit more. More Castiel and Lucifer showed up! He's one of the most interesting characters on the show. I liked s6 a lot but s7 is my least favorite one. And now season 8 is fantastic.

    My favorite Demon and he was killed off way to soon, way Alastair(the last one played by Christopher Heyerdahl). Even with the super bad eps this season, the ones that were very good have out weighed the bad and this might end up my favorite season. Going to depend on what they end up doing to Sam.

    Gotta disagree with your post there.

    "The Undertaking mystery is teetering on the precipice of waiting too long to be unfolded"

    It took Sam and Dean 16 episodes to find John in SPN's first season, and 42 episodes to find what YED wanted from Sam.

    We found about the Undertaking in episode 1.09 and will find what their purpose is in episode 1.21 - just 12 episodes, so if any show took too long to unfold their mysteries so far that's not Arrow, that's SPN.

    I think the island mystery is one of the better mysteries in this show and it's a mystery that will probably last for the entire show run. We don't even know if Oliver was there in the island throughout that time, he already hinted something that suggested otherwise, and any character he met on the island that is still alive could become a new big bad in Starling City.

    As for Thea, I think her reactions were on par with her being a teenager and what happened to her in each episode. She found her brother was shutting her out and was afraid he was a killer, her step-father disappeared and she thought her mother was having an affair, Tommy let her down, and Oliver left her mother wounded on the sidewalk. I personally could relate to her in any episode.

    i love beauty and the beast ...so please give it a chance ...it's ok when someone doeasn't like the show ...i mean we can't like everything ...but it's not ok to say ''stuff'' about a show without even watch it ...:) :) hope you give it a chance and like it :) :)

    I am a fan of several shows on the list, but voted for BATB. I have tons of respect for the SPN fandom and show, and more for fans like you. As you said, when you are fighting to get a show renewed everyone rallies to get some attention. I appreciate that unlike other ppl you simply stated you don't watch BATB instead of trashing it for no reason. And I know a lot of BATB fans are also SPN fans!

    I just need to say what I've been saying a lot about BATB. It wasn't that good at the beginning... so if you are going to watch it PLEASE watch it at least up until episode 5 or 6 because it became an entire different show! From that point on one episode was better than the one before and it did not stop improving. We are at episode 17 right now and it is incredible, however the first 3 eps are not even the shadow of how good the show is right now.... So to everyone that hasn't watch BATB yet I urge you to stick around with it after the first couple of eps or to start watching the current eps which are amazing.

    I tried 90210, arrow and nikita but I find them not interesting enough (I miss old nikita, it was much better). I didn't watch cult, so it's hard to say, if it's good or not. Generally I like most of CW shows.
