Monday's episode of Castle was superb. I loved every minute of Target. Like all of the 2-parters we've seen in previous seasons, everyone in the Castle team really stepped up a notch in Target, and I'm certain we will see the same quality and intensity for next week's comclusion
Target scored a series high 2.3 18-49 rating. This is the highest rating since the finale of Season 4 - "Always", which earned a 2.4 rating and 12.36 million viewers
Target also saw a better than usual (as of late) audience turnout, with 9.85 million people tuning in. This is the highest audience since episode 8 of this season - "After Hours" which drew in 10.36 million viewers, but only a 2.0 rating
Some of you will remember the poll I posted a few days before Target aired. In that poll, 9.31% of people - or 53 out of the 569 votes - were correct in picking a 2.3 rating for Target. The most popular rating the readers picked was the "2.4 or above" option, which earned 39% of the vote - or 222 votes out of 569, as you can see below
In the same post, I also inserted a poll for readers to guess the ratings of the second episode in the 2 parter, "Hunt". The comfortable majority once again selected the "2.4 or above" option, as you can see below
So here is another poll for Hunt. Having seen Target, the basic storyline, the promos, along with the season high ratings for Target, and Castle's 100% record at increasing ratings for the second episode of the 2-parter over the first, what do you think the ratings will be for Hunt now?? Vote in the poll, and share your thoughts in the comments!
Thanks for reading and voting!
