Ted Danson is at the Festival de télévision de Monte-Carlo for CSI, but that didn't stop him from talking to the journalists about the tremendous Bored to Death, cancelled by HBO after three terrific seasons (24 episodes).
Well, it turns out maybe we haven't seen the last of Jonathan, Ray and George ! Ted Danson said to a journalist that a 90-minute TV movie of Bored to Death is "fort probable" (= highly likely), according to this tweet :
Ted sounds very confident to me, hopefully HBO will make it official soon ! We're in early June, it's the perfect time to produce a TV movie before he has to get back to CSI in late July, although it seems like a short window. HBO passed on the Deadwood TV movie but that was an expensive series whereas producing Bored to Death is much cheaper.
